2016 Board of

Lydia De Castro, Chapter Coordinator and ORNAP National Secretary Gabriel Naig,
Chapter Founding Adviser Sr. Marvelyn Aquino SPC, Past Presidents Mr. Alex
Gatmaitan, Mr. Miguel Angelo Labayen, Ms. Demelen Gancero and Past Vice
President Ms. Maria Glyza Manzano
For the third year in a row, Operating Room Nurses
Association of the Philippines, Inc. – Iloilo Chapter bags one of the most
coveted awards during the 42nd Annual Regional Convention and
Scientific Meeting for the Best Performing Local Chapter for the whole
Philippines. Out of the sixteen local chapters, Iloilo was awarded for the third
time.
This is due to the diligence of the past and present
Board of Directors, the support of the founding adviser, Sr. Marvelyn S.
Aquino, SPC, past presidents Mr. Alex Gatmaitan, Mr. Miguel Angelo Labayen, Ms.
Demelen Gancero and Mr. Franky Muzones, the Chief Nurses, OR Supervisors and
Headnurses from different institutions, the Chapter Coordinator, Mr. Gabriel
Naig and of course, the members who are always actively participating in every
activities that the organization conducts.
The award was graciously accepted by the fourteen Board
of Directors lead by the chapter president, Ms. Charlene Mae Delfin, together
with the chapter coordinator, adviser and past presidents. The award, like the
two previous, will serve as an inspiration and challenge to the current
officers to do their best in continuing and surpassing the legacy of previous
BODs.
