The Marian Rose Foundation, together with its sponsors has
once again conducted a Fun Run, a fund-raising activity for their fight against
Cervical Cancer. Last year, there were about 1000 running, but this year, an
overwhelming 7,000 runners were expected to participate in the event.
For the second year in a row, ORNAP-Iloilo Chapter joined
the activity as volunteers, and some as runners to give our support to this
endeavor. The officers, together with
the other volunteers assembled as early as 4 a.m. to prepare for the event.
And at 5 am, flock of people came to SM City-Iloilo in their
running gear, men and women of different ages, from different walks of life ran
for a cause, and not to mention had the chance of winning awesome prizes by the
end of it.
